Full job description Dimension Ortho is looking for an individual who is passionate about 3D! Our team is comprised of a group of surgeons, clinicians, and therapists who work alongside engineers who seek to radically change the casting industry. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: As a 3D Printing Technician, you will create and produce 3D orthotic devices utilizing computer aided programming and 3D printing. It is expected that a technician exemplifies superior timemanagement skills and is comfortable working within tight deadlines. An increase in the production schedule may subject the technician to overtime on an occasional basis. The ability for growth will be considered in conjunction with an increase in knowledge or skills exhibited. Design, prepare, and print parts in adherence to guidelines provided on a daily basis Design for additive manufacturing (DFAM) feedback, file preparation, printing, post processing, and quality control Maintain a production schedule on a daily basis Conduct routine maintenance on 3D machines Troubleshoot and repair 3D machines Monitor and maintain current inventory levels of materials and supplies Comply with all company policies and procedures Conduct validation testing of designs and workflows Disclaimer: The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list and additional tasks may be assigned to the employee from time to time. Skills & Qualifications: Required: High School Diploma / GED Certificate or equivalent experience in an Additive Manufacturing role for at least one year Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in biomedical, mechanical, chemical engineering or other related field Familiarity with Microsoft Excel Ability to manage time efficiently Problem-solving mind set Aptness to work autonomously Passion to learn new skills Willingness to be a team player Willingness to travel inside the country A working knowledge of 3D modelling/printing Familiarity with mechanical design and CAD modeling 3D Scanning Experience is a bonus Physical Activities and Demands: Must be able to carry up to 50lbs Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers The ability to wear personal protective gear while performing certain operations Driving to designated clinical offices as needed Work Environment: The Laboratory is in Bridesburg, Philadelphia, but regional travel may be required using a personal vehicle between Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey. The candidate must own a vehicle with a valid license and insurance. All gas/mileage & toll expenses occurring between the lab site and from each clinical facility are fully reimbursed. 8 hour shift Monday - Friday with occasional weekend hours Work from home options Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
