Account Director, Media SUPPLY | Independent Media Agency Location: Boulder/Denver preferred | Remote within Mountain Time considered Employment: Full-time Salary: $95,000–$125,000 annually We're looking for someone who keeps great work moving. At SUPPLY, we believe great media work is equal parts smart thinking, strong execution, and exceptional collaboration. We're looking for an experienced media agency professional to lead client relationships, bring strategic thinking to the conversation, and keep ambitious campaigns moving. You'll work directly with clients, agency leadership, and media specialists, with the autonomy to identify opportunities, solve problems, and make meaningful contributions to the business. You're the kind of person who walks out of a meeting knowing exactly what needs to happen next. Who follows through without being reminded. Who can confidently discuss a media plan with a client, work with specialists to solve a problem, and keep everyone moving in the right direction. Sound familiar? We'd love to meet you. A Little About SUPPLY SUPPLY is an independent media agency headquartered in Boulder, Colorado. We work with ambitious brands across media strategy, planning, buying, analytics, and emerging channels. Our work spans traditional and digital media, from television and streaming to social, search, programmatic, and whatever comes next. We're independent by design. We value good thinking over unnecessary process, collaboration over silos, and people who take ownership of their work. You'll work closely with agency leadership and talented specialists across disciplines, with meaningful responsibility and real visibility into the work. What You'll Do - Lead client relationships - Own day-to-day client relationships, serving as a trusted point of contact and helping advance each client's business and marketing objectives - Build strong relationships grounded in trust, responsiveness, and an understanding of the client's business - Lead client meetings, status calls, presentations, and planning discussions - Anticipate client needs, bring thoughtful recommendations forward, and ensure clients feel informed and confident in the work - Keep campaigns and projects moving - Coordinate across media strategy, planning, buying, analytics, and creative partners - Manage timelines, deliverables, priorities, and responsibilities across multiple workstreams - Turn conversations into clear decisions, owners, and next steps - Anticipate issues, bring the right people together, and resolve challenges before they become problems - Maintain strong project visibility without creating unnecessary administrative overhead - Bring media expertise and strategic thinking - Understand media strategies, channel recommendations, campaign execution, and performance reporting across traditional and digital channels - Translate media recommendations and results into clear, actionable conversations with clients - Contribute to media planning discussions, presentations, and business reviews - Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes through emerging media, audience intelligence, data, AI, and marketing technologies - Collaborate with SUPPLY's strategy, analytics, and technology teams to explore new capabilities and bring promising ideas to clients - Know when to make a recommendation independently and when to engage the appropriate specialist - Support integrated and influencer campaigns - Coordinate with clients, creators, and creative agency partners - Help manage creator contracts, deliverables, approvals, and timelines - Support the logistics of content production and shoots when needed - Ensure influencer programs align with broader marketing and media initiatives What We're Looking For - Media agency experience matters. We're looking for someone who understands how paid media campaigns come together, not simply someone who has managed client relationships in another industry - Ideally, you bring: - 6+ years of relevant media or advertising agency experience preferred - Candidates with 4+ years of strong, directly relevant experience are encouraged to apply - Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and integrated paid media campaigns - Strong working knowledge of media strategy, planning, buying, campaign execution, and reporting - Familiarity with both traditional and digital media channels - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including confidence presenting to clients and senior stakeholders - Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and follow-through - Experience supporting influencer marketing campaigns, including contracts, deliverables, and production coordination - The ability to prioritize competing needs, exercise good judgment, and manage multiple projects - A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership - Curiosity about emerging media and marketing technologies, including how AI, automation, and data can improve client work - You don't need to be the person buying every media channel. But you should understand the business well enough to ask smart questions, recognize important issues, and work confidently with clients and media specialists You'll Probably Enjoy Working Here If... - You genuinely enjoy building client relationships and earning their trust - You're interested in the media business and excited about where it's heading - You naturally anticipate what needs to happen next - You're detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture - You like bringing new ideas and opportunities to clients, not just managing existing assignments - You prefer solving problems to explaining why something can't be done - You appreciate working directly with smart, motivated people rather than navigating layers of bureaucracy
