Role Description: The Account Executive is a full-time remote role responsible for developing and managing relationships with mortgage professionals and lending partners. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and onboarding new broker and correspondent relationships, presenting OCMBC’s products and programs, and providing guidance on loan scenarios and eligibility. The role involves coordinating with internal operations teams to ensure loans move efficiently through the pipeline, monitoring deal progress, and resolving issues that may impact closing timelines. The Account Executive will regularly analyze market and program changes, communicate updates to clients, and maintain an active pipeline to meet production and quality goals. This role also includes preparing reports, maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, and representing OCMBC’s brand and compliance standards in all interactions.

Qualifications

Experience in mortgage banking or financial services, preferably in wholesale, retail, commercial, or correspondent lending. Proven success in sales or account management, including prospecting, relationship building, and maintaining an active pipeline of clients. Strong knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting basics, and regulatory requirements; familiarity with FHA, VA, USDA, NQM, and conventional programs is beneficial. Ability to interpret rate sheets, program guidelines, and market trends, and explain them clearly to lending partners. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a customer-focused and professional approach. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple deals and deadlines in a remote work environment. Comfort with CRM tools, loan origination systems, and standard office software; ability to maintain accurate digital records. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal operations, underwriting, and leadership teams. High level of integrity and commitment to compliance, fair lending, and ethical business practices. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience.
