This is a remote position.

Delivering specialised accounting and tax compliance support, this remote contract role provides flexible, high-impact capacity for a professional with dedicated experience in small business and trust accounting. Operating approximately 50-60 hours per year, predominantly around provisional and final tax submission months, you will support seamless financial administration and ensure full adherence to South African tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate provisional tax calculations and returns in compliance with SARS deadlines.

• Complete and lodge annual income tax returns for small business entity and family trust structure.

• Prepare annual financial statements for both company and trust.

• Maintain rigorous tax compliance and manage statutory submission processes end-to-end.

Essential Requirements

• Proven background operating as an Independent Contractor Accountant.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience managing trust accounting and tax affairs.

• Established track record in small business accounting and expense management.

• Comprehensive knowledge of South African tax compliance and statutory submission requirements.
