About the Role

C3 Technology Advisors is seeking an AI Strategy and Implementation leader to help turn emerging AI opportunities into practical tools, repeatable workflows, and measurable business outcomes. This is a hands-on role that combines strategy, technical development, business collaboration, and change management across Sales, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Finance. You will help validate and refine C3’s internal AI strategy, identify high-value use cases, evaluate technology solutions, and guide their implementation. Rather than focusing solely on strategy or isolated experiments, you will help build or guide early solutions, select external partners when needed, and support teams as they adopt new ways of working. You will also establish practical standards for privacy, security, and acceptable use while measuring progress and reporting results to leadership.

About the Company

C3 Technology Advisors helps organizations make informed technology purchasing decisions. The firm guides clients through the evaluation, procurement, implementation, and lifecycle management of technology solutions. Its culture is built around five core values: Deep Caring for the Success of Others, Ingenuity & Action, Curiosity, Confidence, and Extreme Ownership.

Key Responsibilities

Validate C3’s internal AI strategy and recommend improvements. Identify high-value AI use cases across Sales, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Finance. Prioritize use cases, develop a clear roadmap, and assist with budgeting. Evaluate AI platforms and tools, run pilots, and make build-versus-buy recommendations to leadership. Own AI architecture and technical standards. Build prototypes, integrations, and lightweight tools when doing so is the fastest path to value. Drive AI adoption across the organization through training, playbooks, prompt libraries, and support for teams with different levels of familiarity and confidence. Measure results and report progress to leadership. Develop practical policies for privacy, security, and acceptable AI use. Manage relationships with external AI partners and determine which initiatives should be handled internally and which should be delegated to partners. Required Qualifications 7–10+ years of experience in AI, data, product, or a technical role. At least 2 years of hands-on experience deploying AI in a working environment. Proficiency with current tools, Microsoft-centric programs, and programming languages. Strong understanding of modern AI technologies, including large language models (LLMs), assistants, automation, and retrieval, along with the judgment to determine where they are and are not useful. A track record of driving technology adoption. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with employees and leaders who have different levels of familiarity with AI. Ability to develop a strategic roadmap while also building prototypes and practical solutions. Understanding of privacy, security, and accuracy risks, and the ability to manage them without unnecessarily slowing down adoption. Willingness to travel to West Michigan several times a year. A four-year degree is preferred but not required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience introducing AI at a small or growing company. Experience in telecommunications or technology consulting. HubSpot experience. Success Expectations Within the first 90 days, develop a clear understanding of where AI can help the business, establish a prioritized shortlist of use cases, deliver one or two visible improvements, and put sensible usage and data policies in place. Within the first year, demonstrate measurable AI adoption across multiple teams, show improvements in time saved or output quality, and help build an organization that is more capable of using AI responsibly and continuing to improve. Work Arrangement & Location This is a remote position. Candidates located within one hour of Grand Rapids, Michigan, are preferred. Candidates elsewhere in the Midwest are also acceptable. Travel to West Michigan several times a year is required.
