Airtable Architect

Remote · Switzerland Full-time

Job Title: Airtable Architect – Intake & Workflow Automation Location: Remote (U.S.) About The Company Our client is one of the largest healthcare organizations in the U.S. and serves millions of members through its health plans and consumer health services. Its Messaging & Innovation group builds personalized, multi-channel member communications, including RCS rich messaging, that help members take action on their health and benefits. Job Summary We're looking for an Airtable Architect to design and build a centralized intake and work management solution for the messaging group. You'll turn draft process flows into a working Airtable base with intake forms, well-structured data tables, automated routing and leadership-friendly interfaces that give the organization visibility into incoming work, capacity and priorities. The role suits a hands-on builder who knows Airtable inside and out, moves quickly with limited documentation, and can teach an internal administrator to run the solution day to day.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and build an Airtable base, including data model, tables, linked records, fields and views, that supports intake across multiple teams and work types. Design intake forms that capture the right information for each type of request and feed cleanly into the underlying data tables. Build automations for intake routing and triage, including conditional logic, assignment rules and automated notifications for approvals and new requests. Create Airtable Interfaces and dashboards that give leaders and stakeholders quick, visual snapshots of work in flight, upcoming demand and team capacity. Build tailored views for different audiences, from leadership summaries to detailed working views for individual contributors. Run working sessions with stakeholders to translate loosely defined needs into requirements, and recommend better approaches where current plans fall short. Design end-to-end intake workflows that account for different downstream processes across teams. Train and document the solution for an internal administrator so it can be maintained and scaled after launch. Structure the solution so it can later integrate with, or migrate to, other work management platforms.

Requirements

Advanced, hands-on Airtable development and architecture experience, including complex bases, linked records, formulas and scripting. Proven experience building Airtable automations for routing, triage, notifications and approvals. Experience building Airtable Interfaces or dashboards for executive and stakeholder audiences. Experience designing end-to-end intake or work management processes, not just maintaining databases. Ability to gather and translate requirements quickly with minimal documentation in a fast-moving environment. Experience training or enabling end users and administrators on a new system. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Airtable AI features. Experience with capacity planning or resource management solutions. Experience with Adobe Workfront, especially integrating Airtable with Workfront or other work management tools. Background supporting marketing, sales enablement or communications teams. Healthcare, health insurance or other regulated-industry experience.
