Responsibilities

Starting salary range for this position is between $71K - $75K and will be finalized based on the candidate's years of experience and local cost of labor Assist in the preparation of tax returns, extensions, quarterly estimated tax payments Assist with creating and requesting checks and mailing federal and state estimated tax vouchers Preparation of household employer payroll tax filings Process electronic filing of tax returns Maintain tax refunds ledger Gain/Loss review and comparison Maintain tax database for tracking of all client deadlines and filings Tax reporting system data maintenance Printing, collation and mailing of tax returns to clients Scanning/organizing electronic tax docs Printing and mailing notices to the IRS and State agencies The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of this job. Qualifications

CPA or working toward becoming Must be able to meet the credit requirement for CPA eligibility Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting Prior internship experience is preferred but not required The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of this job.
