Azure / Terraform Engineer Role Overview We are seeking a hands-on Azure/Terraform Engineer to lead Azure infrastructure development and GCP-to-Azure application migrations for a large healthcare organization. The role will focus on building secure Azure infrastructure, developing reusable Terraform modules, and supporting application migration, production cutover, and GCP decommissioning.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build secure Azure landing zones using Terraform , including AKS, hub-and-spoke networking, Key Vault, ACR, PostgreSQL, Blob/ADLS, and Private Endpoints. Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules, remote state, workload isolation, and safe infrastructure refactoring. Lead GCP-to-Azure migrations , including application cutovers, validation, troubleshooting, and GCP decommissioning. Configure Azure Application Gateway, WAF v2, and AGIC for AKS ingress. Design and implement least-privilege RBAC , Managed Identities, Azure Policy, and secure access controls. Troubleshoot Azure infrastructure, networking, and security issues and support vulnerability remediation. Required Qualifications 5+ years of Infrastructure-as-Code experience , including 3+ years developing reusable Terraform modules. 3+ years of hands-on Azure experience with AKS, VNets, NSGs, Key Vault, ACR, PostgreSQL, Blob/ADLS, Managed Identities, Private Endpoints, and Entra ID. 2+ years of Azure Application Gateway/WAF v2 experience, including AGIC and AKS ingress. Proven, hands-on experience with GCP-to-Azure application and infrastructure migrations — a core requirement. Strong understanding of Azure networking, security, RBAC, and cloud infrastructure automation. Experience with Terraform imports, moved blocks, state management, and infrastructure refactoring. Preferred Experience with GCP services such as GKE, load balancers, NEGs, URL maps, and Cloud Armor. Experience with enterprise Terraform module libraries, Venafi/PKI, Prisma Cloud, or cloud security remediation. Healthcare or other highly regulated enterprise environment experience.
