260 Property Management (part of The Antrim Group) is a Fort Wayne property management company with about 160 residential rental units around Fort Wayne. We’re a small team and we need help keeping accounts accurate and processing monthly reporting. We use a property management-specific software, but if you are good with Quickbooks it's very intuitive. The work is almost entirely remote, and offers flexibility and independence. A few hours a week, with a heavier commitment leading up to the 10th of the month, when we issue owner reports. What you’ll do Post tenant payments, charges, and adjustments, and handle reversed or NSF payments Enter and pay vendor bills, and code expenses to the right properties and accounts Reconcile operating and trust bank accounts each month Help with month-end close, including owner statements and owner distributions Track security deposits and process move-out reconciliations Maintain vendor records and W-9s, and support year-end 1099 prep Flag discrepancies and help improve our processes What we’re looking for 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Property management experience is nice, but not required QuickBooks experience translates well to our PM software Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets Strong attention to detail, reliability, and good judgment with confidential information Able to work independently and communicate clearly with a small team Pay: $25.34 - $30.52 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 – 10.0 per week
