The Bookkeeping Specialist is responsible for recording financial transactions, reconciling bank statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, and maintaining accurate general ledger entries. This role also involves preparing monthly financial reports, supporting tax preparation by organizing relevant financial documents, and flagging discrepancies or irregularities for client review. The specialist works closely with clients to ensure financial data is consistently organized, accessible, and audit-ready. Candidates must have a solid foundation in bookkeeping and accounting practices, with demonstrated experience managing financial records for small to mid-sized businesses in a remote or virtual capacity.
