LLH Healthcare is looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to help expand our reach, develop new markets, and build meaningful relationships with organizations and strategic partners across the country.

This is an opportunity for a relationship-focused sales professional who enjoys creating opportunities, solving problems, opening doors, and turning conversations into long-term partnerships.

Reporting directly to the Vice President of National Sales, you'll work closely with leadership on market strategy, target organizations, business development initiatives, training, and new opportunities for growth.

The Opportunity

As a Business Development Manager, you'll play an important role in expanding LLH Healthcare's presence within established strategic markets while also helping identify new opportunities for growth.

Success in this role is built on relationships. You'll develop connections with brokers, business leaders, organizational decision-makers, universities, collegiate organizations, strategic partners, and other key stakeholders.

You'll also receive comprehensive training and support from experienced leaders and team members. You'll learn the LLH Healthcare Program, understand its value proposition, and develop the knowledge needed to confidently communicate that value to prospective organizations through virtual and in-person presentations.

As your knowledge of our business and markets grows, so will your ability to independently develop opportunities, influence strategy, and contribute to the continued growth of LLH Healthcare.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through research, networking, referrals, strategic outreach, and independent prospecting.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with prospective clients, brokers, strategic partners, and organizational leaders.
  • Learn the LLH Healthcare Program and confidently communicate its value to prospective organizations.
  • Conduct engaging virtual and in-person presentations tailored to each organization's needs.
  • Develop opportunities within established strategic verticals while helping identify new markets and areas for expansion.
  • Manage the full business development cycle from initial outreach and discovery through presentation, negotiation, and close.
  • Partner with internal leadership and team members to develop effective strategies and customized solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely activity, opportunity, and pipeline information within the CRM.
  • Represent LLH Healthcare at conferences, networking events, client meetings, and other strategic opportunities.
  • Collaborate with experienced team members on existing opportunities while building the knowledge and relationships needed to independently grow your market.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who brings professionalism, integrity, curiosity, accountability, and a genuine ability to build relationships.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Is highly coachable and committed to continued professional growth.
  • Is self-motivated, competitive, and accountable for results.
  • Takes ownership of their market and actively looks for new opportunities.
  • Builds authentic relationships and communicates confidently with executives and organizational leaders.
  • Is persistent and disciplined without losing sight of the importance of long-term relationships.
  • Can think strategically while remaining resourceful enough to turn ideas into action.
  • Is comfortable working independently in a remote environment while remaining connected and collaborative with the broader team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in business development, B2B sales, consulting, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success achieving sales goals or quotas and developing new business.
  • Experience with prospecting, relationship development, pipeline management, and closing.
  • Ability to obtain any required license within the first four months of training.
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and maintain an organized sales pipeline.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with leadership and team members.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, networking events, and other business needs as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing relationships with brokers, consultants, strategic partners, or referral sources.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex sales cycles and larger accounts.
  • Experience presenting to senior leaders and executive-level decision-makers.
  • Professional certifications related to sales or business development.
