CAS (Client Accounting Services) Senior Accountant
CAS Senior Accountant Love accounting, but wish you had more time working with clients instead of just working on their books? At Integra Accounting Solutions, we believe great accounting is about more than accurate financials—it's about helping business owners understand their numbers and make better decisions. We're looking for a CAS (Client Accounting Services) Senior Accountant who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and serving as a trusted advisor to small businesses and nonprofit organizations. If you're someone who loves digging into financials but also enjoys sitting across the table from a client and helping them understand what those numbers actually mean, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Be Doing You'll manage your own portfolio of clients and become their go-to accounting resource. Day to day, you'll: Build trusted relationships with business owners and nonprofit leaders while serving as their primary accounting contact. Manage full-service bookkeeping, including bank, payroll, balance sheet, and revenue reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close. Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and help clients understand the story behind the numbers. Discuss financial performance, KPIs, cash flow, and business trends in a way that's practical and easy to understand. Prepare clean year-end financials and collaborate with our tax team to ensure clients are ready for tax season. Help clients get the most from QuickBooks Online by providing guidance, training, and workflow improvements. Help us improve how we work by developing processes, documenting procedures, and building systems that make our CAS practice stronger. Look for opportunities to deepen client relationships and expand the value we provide. What Makes This Role Different This isn't a position where you'll disappear into spreadsheets all day. You'll work directly with business owners who depend on your expertise. You'll help them understand their financials, answer questions, solve problems, and give them confidence in the decisions they're making. You'll also have the opportunity to help shape the future of our CAS practice. As we continue to grow, we're looking for someone who enjoys improving processes—not just following them. We're Looking For Someone Who Has experience with full-cycle bookkeeping and month-end close. Is comfortable preparing and reviewing financial statements. Can confidently explain accounting concepts to people without an accounting background. Has experience with GAAP accounting principles (nonprofit experience is a plus). Understands payroll accounting and sales tax requirements. Is proficient in QuickBooks Online. Enjoys building relationships and providing exceptional client service. Takes ownership, stays organized, and follows through on commitments.
