Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA). Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for working in long-term care settings. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans to enhance residents’ physical, emotional, and cognitive functioning. Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, including exercises, activities of daily living (ADL) training, and adaptive equipment use. Document residents’ progress and communicate updates to the care team to ensure continuity of care. Promote a safe and supportive environment while fostering meaningful relationships..
