Role Description The Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Figure is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring the organization delivers high-quality, impactful experiences for young professionals. The COO will lead operational planning, streamline processes, and coordinate cross-functional activities to support event execution, community engagement, and strategic initiatives. This role includes developing and implementing operational policies, managing budgets and resource allocation, and tracking performance metrics to ensure organizational efficiency and scalability. The COO will collaborate closely with the leadership team to translate vision into actionable plans, support team members, and drive continuous improvement across all operational areas.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Business Planning skills, including strategic planning, goal setting, and execution. Candidates should possess Operations Management skills to design, optimize, and oversee daily organizational processes. Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate performance, and inform decision-making. Candidates should possess Finance and Budgeting skills to manage financial planning, monitor costs, and ensure fiscal responsibility. Experience leading remote teams and collaborating in virtual environments. Proven leadership abilities with a focus on empathy, inclusion, and community building. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across diverse stakeholders. Prior experience in a startup, social impact, or community-focused organization is beneficial. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
