Key Responsibilities: Review and process formulary change requests from health plans. Maintain formulary status grids and perform audits for accuracy. Handle inquiries regarding pharmacy benefits and prior authorization requests. Assist in the resolution of pharmacy audit discrepancies. Collaborate with clinical pharmacists on formulary database maintenance. Process member claims and educate members on their pharmacy benefits. Document and manage prior authorizations and appeals efficiently. Participate in compliance audits and support operational issue resolution. Key Requirements and Technology Experience: High School diploma or GED required. 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience. Customer service or retail experience preferred. Valid Pharmacy Technician License preferred. Experience with Medicare Part D operations. Familiarity with pharmacy claims processing systems.
