Job Description: This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter who wants to join the legal department of a global technology company operating in a rapidly changing legal and commercial environment. This individual would work with the lead attorneys in Zensar’s various jurisdictions (with focus on the Americas) and would have opportunities to work directly with the General Counsel on various projects. Responsibilities include: Negotiate, draft, and analyze a wide variety of contracts, including inbound vendor and subcontracting contracts, client-facing master services agreements, statements of work, software and cloud license agreements, strategic alliance and partnership agreements, reseller agreements, staffing company contracts, non-disclosure agreements, etc. Work closely with the sales and delivery teams to review and respond to client RFPs. Support a broad range of legal and compliance matters, which may include artificial intelligence, data privacy, information security, intellectual property, employment, disputes, corporate matters and regulatory issues. Monitor and assist with the management of the commercial contracting team’s workflow process. Counsel multiple business lines within Zensar, including sales and delivery, marketing, Infosec and HR, on legal issues and risks, company policies and procedures and intellectual property protection. Education & Experience: Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent law degree, and active membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state bar. 4+ years of experience practicing law, with significant experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
