Under general supervision, following established policies, procedures and professional guidelines, delivers nursing care to patients in the OR and other areas of perioperative services for all patient populations. Functions as a circulating or scrub nurse as assigned during operative and other invasive procedures and throughout the perioperative continuum in accordance with scope of practice credentials, privileges, experience, education and competency verification. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital and principles of quality improvement.
