Streamline and oversee the month end close process, significantly reducing the time to close. ? Establish and maintain shared services concepts in a surgical like implementation using integration best practices. ? Review, modify, and oversee the accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) functions. ? Support CFO in the Sales Compensation commission adjustments with analytics and timely reporting. ? Oversee reconciliation and direct adjustments to the health/dental/life policies. ? Lead audits and other compliance projects. ? Participate in the interviewing, selecting, and training of new accounting staff. ? Perform managerial tasks regularly and complete ad hoc projects as assigned or as necessary. Our Needs? ? Strong understanding and proven application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) ? 7+ years of corporate accounting experience including financial reporting ? 5+ years in an accounting leadership role managing a team of varying skillsets ? Bachelor?s degree in accounting or a relevant field of study ? Highly aware of details and priorities while remaining focused on the big picture and strategy ? Willingness and agility to pivot as priorities change ? Passion for automation and improvement of manual processes ? Understanding of various legal entities and how multiple entities operate under different umbrellas ? Professional and concise communication skills (written, verbal, and non-verbal) ? Service focused attitude thriving on accountability, credibility, and trustworthiness ? Positive influencer of change, innovation, and problem solving ? Federal and state tax knowledge ?
