Creative Producer and Creative Lead

Remote · Mexico Full-time

Employment Type: Contract employment with potential for a permanent full-time position Virtual role with in-person shoots | Local candidates only About VMG Studios VMG Studios is an Emmy-winning creative production agency with more than 22 years of experience helping brands tell their stories through video, animation, motion graphics, and design. We partner with enterprise organizations to make complex ideas clear, engaging, and meaningful to their audiences. We’re looking for an experienced Creative Producer with agency or in-house creative team experience, or managed service environment supporting enterprise clients such as Microsoft, Amazon, or Meta. You bring strong storytelling judgment, understand the brand standards, language and expectations of enterprise technology clients, and can lead creative production from initial brief through final delivery.

About the Role

You’ll work closely with account management, our art director, editors, animators, and freelance partners to develop and produce content that meets the client’s goals. You’ll help shape the story, guide the production process, and keep the team aligned on what needs to be delivered. On interview-based shoots, you’ll serve as producer/director, guiding on-camera participants and drawing out authentic stories that support the project’s narrative. Experience supporting large enterprise organizations such as Microsoft, Amazon, or Meta is essential. You understand how these companies communicate, how their stakeholders work, and how to translate complex technology and business topics into effective content. You can speak their language, ask informed questions, and confidently lead creative and production conversations. This position begins on a contract basis, with the potential to become full-time as business needs and fit align. VMG operates virtually, but candidates must be based in the Greater Seattle area and available for in-person shoots and local production needs. Travel may be required for select projects. As a Creative Producer, you will: Story and Concept Development Translate client briefs and business objectives into clear storytelling approaches for video, animation, customer stories, and other branded content. Collaborate with the art director and creative team to develop concepts, treatments, and presentation materials. Work with freelance writers when needed to develop scripts, providing context, feedback, and alignment with client goals. Present creative approaches and explain how they support the audience, message, and project objectives. Creative Production Produce assigned projects from kickoff through final delivery across live action, animation, and post-production. Develop and manage production schedules, project budgets, resources, and approval milestones. Coordinate internal creatives, freelance talent, crew, and production partners. Anticipate obstacles, communicate risks, and address changes that affect scope, budget, or timing. Interviews and Live Action Shoots Prepare interview questions and conduct interviews with executives, employees, customers, and subject matter experts. Help participants feel comfortable on camera and draw out clear, authentic responses that support the story. Lead small-scale interview shoots and collaborate with crew and directors on productions requiring additional support. Ensure the team captures the interviews and supporting footage needed for the finished content. Client and Account Collaboration Partner with account management throughout the project, maintaining shared visibility into client expectations, feedback, and decisions. Lead production discussions and creative reviews, turning feedback into clear, actionable next steps. Communicate progress, secure approvals, and surface questions or concerns early. Support a consistent client experience through organized, responsive communication. Team Management and Production Support Manage day-to-day team priorities, workloads, and schedules across projects, providing regular check-ins, feedback, and support. Consolidate client and stakeholder feedback into clear, actionable direction. Identify conflicting requests or scope changes early and partner with account management to resolve them before they disrupt production. Partner with the art director on visual execution and with editors and animators on story, pacing, and delivery. Review work for alignment with the approved concept, brand requirements, and client objectives. Collaborate with project-management support when assigned, with clear ownership of responsibilities. Required Qualifications: Demonstrated experience producing content for large enterprise organizations such as Microsoft, Amazon, or Meta. Fluency in enterprise technology and business communications, including the ability to understand complex topics and work confidently with stakeholders. Experience producing both live action and animation or motion graphics projects. Strong storytelling judgment and the ability to guide a project’s creative development and execution. Experience conducting interviews and working with on-camera participants. Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, resources, and multiple concurrent projects. Strong client communication, presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills. The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small, distributed team. A portfolio demonstrating relevant work, with your role and contributions clearly identified. Preferred Qualifications: Scriptwriting experience, particularly for enterprise technology audiences. Experience directing executives and other on-camera talent. An established network of freelance writers, crew, and creative specialists. Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools and production workflows. E04JI800auv0409f0bm
