Creator Social Media Intern

Remote · Canada Full-time

Company Description

Gift is a social platform designed to create genuine connections around shared interests, empowering communities for creators, brands, and everyday users. Instead of self-promotion, Gift focuses on celebrating others through meaningful “gifts” like photos, videos, and links that reflect real relationships. User identities are shaped by what others share with them, encouraging authentic interactions rather than performance. The platform aims to build spaces where real friendships form and communities thrive through organic, positive engagement. Gift believes social media should bring people together in a way that feels human, respectful, and community-centered. Role Description The Creator Social Media Intern is a remote, contract role focused on supporting Gift’s presence across social platforms and nurturing creator communities. Day-to-day tasks include brainstorming and producing social media content, repurposing creator content for different channels, and drafting posts, captions, and short-form copy aligned with Gift’s brand voice. The intern will help schedule and publish content, monitor engagement, and surface insights from comments and messages to inform future campaigns. This role also involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to support creator initiatives, assist with basic digital marketing tasks, and contribute ideas to strengthen community growth and brand awareness.
