Credentialing Operations Generalist

Remote · Australia Full-time

The Credentialing Operations Generalist provides versatile support across Credentialing, moving between roles, teams, and assignments as business needs change. This teammate develops broad knowledge of credentialing processes and applies it wherever support is needed to maintain service, complete accurate clinician documentation, and support timely starts. Assignments may include, but not limited to: Out of office coverage, MAS, CSCS, Onboarding Specialist responsibilities, strike support, and travel to provide on-site assistance.

  • Perform a broad range of credentialing duties as assigned, including MAS, CSCS, Onboarding Specialist, and other credentialing support functions, consistent with training, system access, and established procedures.
  • Provide short-term or extended coverage for absences, vacancies, workload increases, and changing priorities. Move between teams, client groups, and work queues as directed by leadership.

  • Collect, review, and process credentialing documents, including HR forms, background information, health records, certifications, and licensure, according to applicable requirements.
  • Partner with recruiters, credentialing teammates, and other stakeholders to communicate status, resolve barriers, and promptly escalate risks to clinician readiness or start dates.
  • Support strike staffing and other urgent deployments, including accelerated credentialing, document collection, readiness tracking, and coordination with deployment teams. This may require travel to provide on-site credentialing and onboarding support when assigned, including assistance with clinician check-in, documentation, and issue resolution during strike or other business needs.
  • Complete cross-training and maintain proficiency across assigned functions. Identify process gaps, share knowledge, and assist with projects and other credentialing duties as needed.
  • Meet quality, service, productivity, and turnaround expectations for each assignment while protecting confidential clinician and client information.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date placement statuses and checklists in applicable systems, including timely updates for terminations, backouts, and cancellations, ensuring all information remains complete, current, and reliable for stakeholders to make informed decisions.

• Experience in credentialing, onboarding, healthcare staffing, or a related service environment; experience across multiple credentialing functions preferred. • Ability to learn unfamiliar processes quickly, apply training accurately, and adapt to changing teams, systems, client requirements, and priorities. • Willingness to take on varied assignments, work independently within established guidelines, and seek guidance when an issue exceeds training or authority. • Strong organization, attention to detail, and judgment; ability to manage multiple deadlines and a large or changing workload without sacrificing accuracy. • Excellent verbal and written communication, a positive and professional demeanor, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clinicians and internal partners. • Strong computer and data-entry skills, including the ability to navigate multiple systems and maintain complete, accurate records. • Ability to support strike assignments, travel, and work on-site as business needs require, including assignments with limited advance notice.
