Owning application security across the SDLC and CI/CD pipeline, the full-time remote Cyber Security Engineer will manage security assessments, enforce secure coding practices, and collaborate with development teams to minimize vulnerabilities in a healthcare-regulated environment. Key responsibilities Collaborate with developmental teams to integrate security into the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and CI/CD pipeline Perform in-depth security assessments, code reviews, and threat modeling to identify vulnerabilities and risks Manage GitHub Advanced Security triage findings and secure CI/CD pipelines to reduce software supply chain risk Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered 5+ years in application security or security engineering Demonstrated experience with CI/CD pipeline security and code scanning tools Strong understanding of healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HITECH, HITRUST) and their impact on application security Experience with API security and securing cloud environments (Azure preferred, AWS a plus) Experience: 5 years required
