Barracuda is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support its Extended Detection and Response (XDR) services within a global Security Operations Center (SOC). The role contributes to security monitoring, incident analysis, and response in an environment that operates around the clock.

About the Role

The Cybersecurity Analyst will help ensure the timely delivery of XDR services by monitoring security activity, analyzing potential incidents, and supporting incident response processes. The position requires hands-on experience with security technologies, including SIEM, SOAR, and EDR tools, as well as the ability to communicate findings clearly and work effectively within a global SOC team. This remote position is based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and operates within a 24x7x365 security environment. Candidates should be prepared to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as required.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor security activity and contribute to threat detection within a global SOC environment. Analyze security alerts and investigate potential incidents. Support incident response activities to help address identified security threats. Use SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and other security tools to support monitoring and investigation. Contribute to the timely delivery of XDR services. Communicate incident findings and relevant security information clearly to team members. Collaborate with SOC colleagues to support security operations across a 24x7x365 environment. Work assigned evening, weekend, and holiday shifts to support continuous security coverage.

Required Qualifications

At least 2 years of relevant experience. Hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and other security tools. Ability to support security monitoring, incident analysis, and response activities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work within a global SOC environment that operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, throughout the year. Availability to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as required. Location & Work Arrangement Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan. Work arrangement: Remote.
