Akkodis is seeking a Data Architect (Remote role) for a Contract job with a client in Dearborn, MI. "The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience as a Data Architect. Rate Range: $82/hour to $85/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Data Architect Job responsibilities include: Provides architectural direction and support to project teams by translating business capabilities into well-defined programs, projects, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals. Defines and communicates architecture strategies, principles, standards, blueprints, and roadmaps while ensuring alignment across business functions, IT initiatives, and enterprise objectives. Facilitates cross-functional architecture discussions and governance, drives research and innovation, and ensures adherence to architecture standards, methodologies, and best practices. Collaborates with business and IT leaders to secure alignment, recommend improvements in IT business value, and guide strategic planning, prioritization, portfolio management, and future-state architecture. Desired Qualifications: Requires 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in Data/Information Architecture, Data Engineering, database design, data modeling, OLTP/RDBMS, Data Warehousing, and Data Marts. Strong hands-on expertise in data modeling tools such as PowerDesigner, data governance, data integrity, data quality, data management, and Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and tools. Experience with GCP technologies, including BigQuery, AlloyDB, PostgreSQL, Cloud Run, MongoDB, and Dataflow, along with AI-driven data engineering and modeling capabilities. Preferred knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, TOGAF, DAMA, PLM platforms, interoperability standards, and architecture principles, with proven leadership, stakeholder management, and multitasking skills; Bachelor's degree and relevant certification required.
