Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to data integrity will directly impact the success of our clinical trials and the safety of patients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Capture & Validation: Enter study data from source documents into the EDC system, ensuring 100% accuracy and adherence to SOPs.
  • CRF Management: Oversee the transition of data from source to CRF, monitor completeness, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Query Resolution: Identify, investigate, and resolve data queries in collaboration with research coordinators and investigators.
  • Monitoring Support: Serve as a backup for scheduling and coordinating monitoring visits, and provide on‑site support as needed.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with ICH GCP, FDA, OHRP, OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Lab Coordination: Identify and liaise with laboratory facilities to secure necessary certifications for study samples.
  • Protocol Adherence: Review study protocols and use them as a guide for all data entry activities.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with sponsors, monitors, auditors, and internal teams to ensure data quality and project timelines.
  • Training & Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance data entry efficiency and accuracy.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of data entry activities, query logs, and resolution actions.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the overall success of clinical studies.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certificate in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of data entry experience in a clinical research environment.
  • Proficiency with EDC systems (e.g., Medidata Rave, Oracle InForm, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial workflows, CRFs, and source data verification.
  • Knowledge of ICH GCP, FDA, OHRP, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team while maintaining a high level of self‑direction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data query management and resolution.
  • Familiarity with clinical research terminology and medical data.
  • Prior exposure to remote work environments and virtual collaboration tools.
  • Experience in a regulated industry (pharma, biotech, medical devices).
  • Additional certifications such as Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) or Certified Clinical Data Manager (CCDM).

Skills & Competencies

  • Data Accuracy: Unwavering focus on precision and error minimization.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and potential data issues.
  • Time Management: Efficiently prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving clinical research landscape.
  • Team Player: Collaborate effectively with investigators, monitors, and cross‑functional teams.
  • Problem Solving: Resolve data discrepancies and queries with creative, compliant solutions.
