A financial services institution is seeking a Data Governance Analyst (Data Access & Information Management) for a remote role supporting data access oversight and information management. This position focuses on analyzing data structures, documenting access needs, and helping ensure that information is organized and secured appropriately. About the Opportunity: Shift: Day shift Schedule: Monday to Friday Hours: Core business hours Setting: Remote Responsibilities: Review data management solutions and folder structures to identify data owners and access needs Collaborate with stakeholders to document data access requirements and related business needs Support the restructuring of data folders to help ensure access is limited to authorized personnel Monitor and maintain data access integrity across organizational folder structures Assist with the design and implementation of access procedures for new folder creation and ongoing governance Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Strong knowledge of IT policies, procedures, standards, and best practices Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while meeting deadlines Extensive experience developing and delivering IT solutions with a focus on business intelligence Experience working effectively within cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams and projects Advanced proficiency in presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives, and information clearly and concisely Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment Significant experience translating business requirements into effective technical solutions Proven expertise in research, analysis, and problem-solving Advanced organizational, planning, and time management capabilities Excellent communication skills across all levels of an organization Experience: 2 years required
