Defense Litigation Associate I'm working with a well-established regional litigation and business law firm seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Seattle office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney who enjoys managing cases independently, working directly with clients, and handling a diverse litigation practice in a collaborative, flexible environment. What You'll Do

Manage defense litigation matters from inception through resolution. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and provide strategic legal guidance. Conduct legal research, drafting, and analysis. Prepare and argue motions, attend hearings, and manage discovery. Take and defend depositions. Participate in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings. Handle matters involving: Business Litigation Construction Law Data Breach & Security Response Hospitality & Food-Borne Illness Litigation Motor Vehicle Accidents Premises Liability Product Liability Professional Liability Real Estate Litigation Toxic Tort / Asbestos Litigation Transportation & Trucking Law

What We're Looking For

Active membership in the Washington State Bar. 5+ years of litigation experience. Proven ability to independently manage cases and client relationships. Strong legal writing, drafting, and research skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Experience with depositions, motions practice, and trial preparation. Prior law firm experience strongly preferred. Case management experience required. Experience representing public entities or school districts is a plus, but not required.
