Overview

  • We are seeking candidates with hands-on dental clinical experience in the United States to support the testing and improvement of dental AI software through a remote part-time engagement.
  • The project requires approximately 10 hours per week over approximately three months.
  • Communication hours are flexible, with a preference for availability within 9:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. Singapore Time.

What You Will Do

  • Use and test the software in real clinical settings, assessing the accuracy and completeness of generated tooth charts, periodontal charts, and clinical notes, as well as usability.
  • Identify errors, omissions, and gaps in meeting clinical needs. Clearly describe the use case, actual output, expected result, and recommended changes.
  • Retest updated features, verify that changes meet agreed expectations, and follow up on unresolved issues.
  • Share practical experience with dental practice management systems (PMS) and clinical documentation workflows to inform product improvements.

What We Are Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in a DDS or DMD program at a U.S. dental school. Recent graduates and candidates with relevant professional experience are also welcome.
  • Hands-on experience with real patient care and clinical documentation at a U.S. dental school clinic, community dental clinic, or private practice.
  • Experience completing or updating odontograms, participating in periodontal charting, and writing, supplementing, or organizing clinical notes for real patients.
  • Familiarity with the Universal Numbering System, tooth surface notation, and clinical documentation workflows, including the distinction between existing conditions, planned treatment, and completed treatment.
  • Hands-on use of clinical functions in at least one dental PMS or electronic health record system, such as axiUm, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Open Dental.
  • Working knowledge of English dental terminology and the ability to clearly explain issues, expected outcomes, and actionable feedback.
  • Ongoing access to real clinical settings for testing and the ability to meet the agreed time commitment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Third- or fourth-year DDS/DMD student; second-year students with relevant clinical experience are also welcome to apply.
  • Currently involved in patient care and regularly using relevant dental systems.
  • Experience with two or more dental systems or electronic clinical note templates.
  • Experience in both dental school clinics and community or private practices.
  • Familiarity with the FDI tooth numbering system.
