Flexible work hours and locations are available if required. Ascent is looking for experienced MBS & Tekla (Metal Building Software) users. Engineering at Ascent could be cross functional based on education and experience. Design Engineers Estimators Detailers Checkers Drafters Manufacturing Engineer at manufacturing plant in Portland, Tennessee Qualifications & Skills Experience in estimating, design, or detailing utilizing MBS (Metal Building Software) CADD experience Tekla experience (not required, but a plus) Experienced with interpreting construction plans and details Team attitude Education & Licensing BS degree in engineering is preferred for design engineer candidates (Professional Engineer is a plus, but not a requirement) BS or associate's degree in engineering, building science, or engineering technology is preferred for estimators Associates degree in drafting or engineering technology is preferred for detailers and checkers Apply at www.ascentbuildings.net \nCompany DescriptionAscent Buildings, LLC was created because there exists a real need in the pre-engineered steel building industry for a customer focused company, built on the principles of quality and service.
