Open role
DevOps Engineer, Sr. - 100% Remote
About the Company
Bluprynt is building a Compliance OS for digital assets, connecting off-chain compliance requirements with on-chain identity, policy, and supervisory visibility. Its infrastructure helps issuers, banks, and other market participants meet regulatory expectations while retaining the speed and flexibility of blockchain-based systems. The company completed the EU's first MiCA pilot, launched Know Your Issuer (KYI) with Paxos and Circle, partnered with Chainlink on automated on-chain compliance enforcement, and closed an oversubscribed $4.25 million seed round in 2026.
About the Role
Bluprynt is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of its cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and data infrastructure. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer (CPO), you will work as part of a small engineering team, helping define the technical standards, workflows, and architecture that support the company's growth. AI coding agents are central to this role. You will build practical, agent-driven development workflows that help engineers move faster while maintaining code quality, security, and visibility. The role also involves leading the transition from the current stack to a unified monorepo and pipeline, improving blockchain data integrations, and working directly with customers to deploy, troubleshoot, and adapt the platform.
Key Responsibilities
Own cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines end to end, managing infrastructure as code. Lead the transition to a unified monorepo and pipeline, implementing branch protection, required code reviews, and automated checks for every merge. Maintain reliable blockchain data integrations, including RPC providers, failover mechanisms, rate limits, and indexing. Build AI agent-driven development workflows for CI, automated code review, test generation, and development environment setup. Improve developer onboarding so new engineers can contribute and ship changes within days. Establish practical observability, alerting, incident response, and cost management processes. Manage security, secrets, access controls, and infrastructure hardening. Work directly with customers and internal teams to deploy, debug, and adapt the platform in real-world environments. Review pull requests across the codebase, maintaining high standards for code quality, documentation, and technical context. Establish development workflows that make daily changes visible, reviewable, and easy to explain. Own the transition from the existing technology stack to the target architecture, ensuring the work is implemented and maintained as code.
Required Qualifications
At least 8 years of experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering (SRE), or infrastructure engineering, including end-to-end ownership of production systems. Strong experience using AI coding agents in production engineering workflows, including building appropriate guardrails and review processes. Extensive hands-on AWS experience in production, including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, VPC networking, IAM, and cost management. Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, AWS CDK, or similar tools. Experience building and operating data infrastructure at scale, including high-volume ingestion, streaming, data warehouses, and ETL orchestration. Production experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS. Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines at scale, preferably in a monorepo environment. Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or similar technologies. Strong coding ability in at least one of TypeScript, Go, Rust, or Python, including the ability to build engineering tools rather than relying solely on configuration. Experience as an early engineer at a seed-stage or Series A startup, or in a comparable role requiring significant ownership and initiative. Strong written and verbal English communication skills. Ability to work core Eastern Time (EST) hours.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with blockchain RPC infrastructure, including nodes, node providers, failover, archive data, and chain reorganizations. Familiarity with Ethereum and EVM-compatible blockchains or Solana. Experience with blockchain indexers and data pipelines, including The Graph, Substreams, or custom indexers. Experience in forward-deployed engineering or other customer-facing technical roles. Experience with security and compliance initiatives, including SOC 2, key management, or audits. Technology Stack The current and target environments include TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, Heroku, AWS ECS/EKS, infrastructure as code, and multiple on-chain adapters. Supported integrations include Solana SAS, EAS, Base, Plume, Sepolia, Aptos, Avalanche, and Stellar. Location and Employment Type This is a full-time remote position. The role requires availability during core Eastern Time hours. Engineering Approach Bluprynt operates as a small team where engineers take ownership across the codebase rather than working within narrow specializations. Every merge requires approval, and reviewers are accountable for the changes they approve. The team emphasizes clear documentation, visible delivery, careful reviews, and the use of AI agents to improve engineering productivity.
Compensation and Benefits
Bluprynt offers competitive salary based on experience, with compensation discussed during the initial screening process. The package also includes ground-floor equity, providing an opportunity to participate in the company's growth. The role offers direct involvement in building infrastructure for digital asset compliance, along with the autonomy to influence the engineering organization, technology stack, and team culture at an early stage.
