Role Description The Director of Corporate Strategy is a full-time, remote role responsible for defining and driving Sofina Group’s long-term strategic direction. This position leads strategic planning initiatives, evaluates new business opportunities, and supports corporate development activities such as partnerships, investments, and market expansion. The role involves conducting market and competitive analyses, aligning strategic priorities with financial objectives, and collaborating with leadership on business plans and performance targets. The Director will prepare board-level presentations, oversee strategic projects from concept to execution, and ensure cross-functional coordination to implement key initiatives. This role also mentors team members on strategic thinking and supports the development of processes that foster innovation and growth.

Qualifications

Strong Analytical Skills, including market research, data interpretation, and strategic insights generation. Proficiency in Business Planning and Corporate Development, including growth strategy, partnerships, and new venture evaluation. Solid understanding of Finance, including financial modeling, budgeting, and assessing investment returns. Consulting experience or consulting-style problem-solving skills, including stakeholder engagement and structured communication. Proven experience in corporate strategy, business strategy, or strategy leadership within startups or technology-focused organizations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to senior stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple strategic projects simultaneously. Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred; relevant professional certifications are an advantage. Experience in innovation ecosystems, incubation hubs, or IT product development is beneficial.
