Role Description The Director of Operational Efficiency is a full-time, remote role responsible for optimizing processes, workflows, and resource utilization across the organization. This role leads cross-functional initiatives to identify inefficiencies, implement improvements, and measure impact using data and key performance indicators. The Director collaborates with department leaders to refine operating models, align budgets with strategic goals, and enhance the customer experience through more reliable and responsive operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing operational metrics, overseeing improvement projects, developing standard operating procedures, and guiding teams through change management. This position also supports leadership by preparing reports, recommendations, and execution plans that drive continuous improvement and long-term operational excellence.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Operations Management and process optimization skills, with experience designing and improving workflows. Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills, including data interpretation, KPI development, and problem-solving capabilities. Candidates should possess proven Team Management abilities, including leadership, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration. Candidates should possess Budgeting and resource planning skills to align operational initiatives with financial objectives. Candidates should possess Customer Service orientation, with a focus on reliability, responsiveness, and continuous improvement of the customer experience. Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in continuous improvement frameworks (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), change management expertise, and strong written and verbal communication skills. A bachelor’s degree in business, operations, management, or a related field is preferred; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and use modern collaboration and productivity tools.
