Role Description This full-time remote Director of Operations role at Huscarl (YC P26) is responsible for overseeing day-to-day business operations and driving operational excellence across the organization. The Director of Operations will design, implement, and optimize processes to support growth, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as product, engineering, sales, and customer success. This role includes managing operational planning and execution, establishing performance metrics, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently. The Director of Operations will lead and develop operations team members, coordinate budgets and vendor relationships, and ensure that customer-facing processes are reliable, responsive, and high quality. The position also involves identifying operational risks and opportunities, implementing data-driven improvements, and supporting leadership with strategic planning and reporting.

Qualifications

Strong Operations Management skills, including process design, optimization, and cross-functional coordination. Robust Analytical Skills to interpret data, build metrics and dashboards, and make data-informed decisions. Experience in Team Management, including coaching, performance management, and fostering collaborative, inclusive work environments. Proficiency with Budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to support efficient and sustainable growth. Customer Service orientation with a track record of improving customer experience through operational improvements. Experience in fast-paced startup or high-growth environments, ideally within technology or SaaS. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fully remote, distributed team. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver results under time constraints. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
