What You'll Be Doing: Own key accounts, open doors to new ones, and ensure clients shipping and logistics needs are met through strategic relationships. Manage and grow a portfolio of existing shipper accounts with a focus on long-term partnerships, not just transactions Act as the main point of contact and advocate for your customers, making sure their needs shape how we serve them Focus on keeping accounts happy and growing the relationship (retention and expansion), rather than chasing call quotas Open doors to new direct shippers by leveraging your professional network and industry standing Serve as the primary advocate for your customers, ensuring their needs drive strategic decisions Build and maintain relationships with high-tech industry leaders, including data center and enterprise technology companies Manage executive-level stakeholder relationships at difficult-to-access organizations in the technology sector Leverage provided leads and your own network to develop new shipper relationships Travel to West Coast accounts as needed to strengthen partnerships and support business growth Drive account retention and growth metrics rather than traditional sales pipeline or call volume targets What You'll Need to Have: Proven experience and track record of maintaining and growing high-value client relationships Established network and contacts within the high-tech industry, particularly at the executive level Experience working with data center, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise technology companies Demonstrated ability to access and influence decision-makers at hard-to-reach organizations Strong relationship management skills with a consultative, customer-first approach Prior Procurement / Logistics Industry experience highly preferred
