This direct-hire, fully remote role (U.S.-based) suits a relationship-driven leader who measures success by partnerships that endure for years, not by dial counts. The client prizes depth over volume. You’ll steward a portfolio of established shippers, expand those accounts, and bring new direct shippers into the fold, with a sharp focus on the high-tech sector, spanning enterprise tech firms and data center operators. The client is not open to C2C or subcontract engagements. What You’ll Do Steward a portfolio of established shipper accounts, cultivating multi-year partnerships that reach well beyond individual transactions. Translate each client’s shipping and logistics requirements into tailored solutions through strategic, consultative engagement. Champion your customers as their primary contact, ensuring their priorities shape the client’s service model and strategic direction. Maximize retention and account expansion, with performance gauged by loyalty and growth rather than pipeline size or call volume. Unlock new direct-shipper relationships by tapping company-supplied leads, your professional network, and your industry reputation. Cultivate senior-level connections with high-tech leaders at enterprise technology firms and data center operators. Navigate hard-to-penetrate technology organizations, earning trust and influence with executive decision-makers. Visit West Coast clients in person when the relationship calls for it, reinforcing partnerships and accelerating growth.
