Role Description The ABBYY Document Management Specialist will work in a remote, contract capacity to design, configure, and optimize document capture and processing workflows using ABBYY technologies. Day-to-day tasks include setting up document recognition templates, defining classification rules, and managing data extraction processes to support client projects. The specialist will collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to understand requirements, implement document management solutions, and resolve issues. Responsibilities also include maintaining documentation, ensuring compliance with data handling standards, and monitoring system performance for accuracy and efficiency. This role requires proactive communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a distributed environment.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Document Management and Records Management skills, including experience with structured and unstructured content. Candidates should possess solid Documentation and Communication skills to clearly describe processes, configurations, and user guidance. Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, optimize workflows, and troubleshoot ABBYY-related issues. Experience with ABBYY FlexiCapture, FineReader Server, or similar OCR and document processing platforms is highly beneficial. Familiarity with data privacy, compliance standards, and secure handling of sensitive information is preferred. Experience working in remote, distributed teams and managing multiple client projects or stakeholders is advantageous. Background in information management, IT, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience, is desirable.
