Why This Role is a Game‑Changer

As an Entry‑Level Customer Training Specialist, you will be the bridge between brighthush’s technology and the people who use it every day. You’ll travel extensively—about 80% of the time—to dealership sites, where you’ll install, configure, and customize our software to meet each customer’s unique needs. You’ll also conduct engaging training sessions, provide ongoing support, and ensure a smooth transition from legacy systems to brighthush’s integrated solution. This role offers a rare blend of travel, hands‑on technical work, and direct customer interaction—all while building a foundation for a rewarding career in technology implementation and customer success.

Key Responsibilities

  • On‑Site Implementation: Travel to dealership locations to install, configure, and customize brighthush software, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Customer Training: Deliver engaging, interactive training sessions to dealership staff, covering system navigation, best practices, and troubleshooting.
  • Needs Assessment: Meet with dealership management to understand operational requirements, gather feedback, and tailor solutions to each client’s workflow.
  • Follow‑Up Support: Provide remote support from your home office, including troubleshooting, answering questions, and conducting post‑implementation check‑ins.
  • Documentation: Create clear, concise training materials, user guides, and implementation reports for internal use and client reference.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior implementation specialists, product managers, and customer success teams to refine training content and improve deployment processes.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in a 2‑ to 3‑month training program that includes classroom instruction, on‑the‑job mentorship, and hands‑on experience at partner dealerships.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct post‑implementation reviews to ensure that all system functionalities are fully operational and that clients are satisfied.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 80% of the time, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Outgoing, friendly personality with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with fewer than two moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years.
  • Reliable home internet connection with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing and remote support.
  • Basic technical aptitude and a passion for learning new software tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a customer‑facing role within the automotive or retail technology sector.
  • Prior exposure to software implementation or training environments.
  • Knowledge of dealership operations, such as inventory management, sales, or service processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.

Skills & Competencies for Success

  • Customer‑Centric Mindset: A genuine desire to help clients succeed and a knack for anticipating their needs.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in dynamic environments, adjust to new challenges, and learn quickly on the job.
  • Problem‑Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues and devise effective solutions.
  • Presentation Skills: Confidence in delivering clear, engaging presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Time Management: Efficiently juggle travel schedules, on‑site work, and remote support responsibilities.
  • Team Player: Collaborative spirit that values feedback and works well with cross‑functional teams.
