Entertainment, Media & Sports Partner

Job Description

We are seeking a senior Entertainment, Media & Sports Partner to join our firm and help grow our practice. Ideal candidates bring deep experience, a portable book of business (minimum $500K) and an interest in working in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. YOU ARE:

• An attorney with at least 7-10 years’ experience in film and tv production.
• Licensed to practice in New York, California, Florida, Texas or elsewhere in the U.S. or the UK, with a portable book of business of at least $500,000.
• A natural leader with in-depth knowledge of the entertainment industry.
• Familiar with film finance and tax credit issues (not required but preferred).
• Practical, prepared and resourceful with excellent people skills.
• An efficient and effective plain-English communicator.
• Conscientious, thorough and highly accountable.
• Motivated to learn and improve. Receptive to constructive feedback.
• Polished, poised, energetic with a strong work ethic.
• Always responsive and often proactive, keeping your clients (and team) well-informed.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WOULD:

• Report to our Entertainment Chair.
• Supervise lawyers, paralegals, law clerks, and externs on your team.
• Lead by example: with your work ethic, constructive feedback, and positive attitude.
• Have significant client contact.
• Be involved in client development and the growth of the firm.
• Continue to develop your own book of business and help drive the continued growth of the firm.

• Total Compensation – $250,000 – $750,000 or more (based on experience, book of business, and performance).
