Job Description:

• Design, implement, maintain, and support assigned health information management Epic software applications
• Work with operational teams across ProMedica
• Mentor less experienced IT EMR staff
• Plan implementation and upgrade clinical systems
• Ensure adequate testing, quality assurance, and documentation of changes
• Train IT employees
• Advise end-users on operating their information systems
• Support the training team by keeping trainers informed of new functions and system changes

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical experience
• Must achieve Epic certification in primary application within 90 days of completing the first Epic class
• Obtaining and maintaining Epic Certification in the primary application is mandatory
• Bachelor’s degree or 3 years experience in Information Technology preferred
• IT background preferred
• 5–7 years relevant clinical experience preferred
• Epic certification preferred
• Residence in an eligible U.S. state; employment is unavailable to residents of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Washington, or U.S. territories
