🚨 WE’RE HIRING: Epic APeX Application Analyst – Clinical Documentation | UCSF | Remote UCSF is seeking an experienced Epic Clinical Documentation Application Analyst to support clinical application build, configuration, implementation, testing, and workflow optimization. 📌 Position Details Client: UCSF Work Arrangement: Primarily Remote Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PST Maximum Bill Rate: $100-110/hour Location: Non-local candidates will be considered 🔹

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, configure, test, and implement Epic Clinical Documentation applications. Analyze clinical workflows and translate user requirements into application solutions. Configure and maintain clinical documentation tools, templates, SmartTools, and note workflows. Conduct functional testing, quality assurance, release analysis, and conversion data validation. Troubleshoot application issues and provide ongoing production support. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, clinical stakeholders, and technical teams. Develop user training materials and support end users during training, go-live, and stabilization. Maintain application documentation, internal procedures, and change control processes. Identify opportunities to improve clinical documentation workflows and application performance. 🔹

Required Qualifications

Epic Clinical Documentation certification or accreditation is required. Hands-on experience with Epic Clinical Documentation application build and support. Strong understanding of clinical workflows and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Experience with application configuration, testing, implementation, and troubleshooting. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate with clinical and technical teams. 🔹 Preferred Experience Epic APeX experience in a large healthcare organization or academic medical center. Experience with SmartForms, SmartTexts, SmartPhrases, SmartTools, and progress notes. Experience supporting go-live, production stabilization, and end-user training. ⚠️ Important: UCSF requires full medical examinations for all onsite or hybrid candidates.
