About the Role As an Estimator, you’ll take full ownership of the estimating function,bringing structure and accuracy to every stage of the build process. You’ll work closely with the Scheduler, Construction Manager, and Director toensure material orders, supplier pricing, and build programs align withprofitability and delivery goals. This position is currently work-from-home, fully supported by remotesystems and communication tools. Some hybrid functions may be required fromtime to time, depending on project needs or collaboration requirements. • Take full ownership of cost estimating, BOQs, and tender documentation for residential homes.
• Review drawings, engineering, and specifications to identify efficiencies or cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Scheduler to ensure correct quantities, material orders, and lead times.
• Maintain up-to-date supplier and subcontractor pricing to support timely and profitable builds.
• Process variations and maintain cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Liaise with construction, design, and operations teams to ensure consistency across all project stages.
• Lead the refinement of estimating systems and procedures to support scale and accuracy.

Requirements

About You You’re an experienced Estimator or Operationsprofessional with a strong understanding of residential construction and anatural drive to improve how things are done. You’re commercially minded, structured, and ready to lead from the front, notjust follow. You’ll bring:

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in residential estimating, operations, or management.
• Proven ability to implement or improve estimating and costing systems.
• Experience working alongside schedulers and construction teams to drive efficiency.
• Strong financial understanding and focus on maintaining profitability.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
• Confident communicator with a calm, solutions-based approach.
