Role Overview

We are looking for a meticulous, compassionate, and tech‑savvy Dental Billing & Insurance Virtual Assistant to join our revenue‑cycle team. In this part‑time role (20 hours per week), you will be the linchpin that keeps our billing, insurance, and patient communication processes running smoothly. You will work closely with our on‑site clinicians, the billing department, and our patient portal to resolve claims, reconcile payments, and ensure a seamless experience for both patients and insurance carriers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Insurance Follow‑Ups & Claim Resolution (Primary Focus)

• Make outbound calls to dental insurance companies to investigate outstanding claims, denials, and payment discrepancies.
• Track claim statuses and follow up on unresolved billing concerns.
• Clarify claim processing details with insurance representatives and document outcomes.
• Communicate with patients regarding insurance‑related billing questions, ensuring clarity and empathy.
• Support end‑to‑end revenue‑cycle management and billing follow‑up activities.

2. Dental Billing & EOB Processing

• Assist with dental billing workflows and reconcile insurance payments.
