Why Join brighthush?

At brighthush, you’ll be part of a dynamic, mission‑driven team that values curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. We champion a culture of inclusivity, where every voice is heard and every idea has the potential to shape the future of learning. As a Customer Success Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to directly influence the success of schools, drive measurable impact on student outcomes, and grow your career in a supportive, fast‑paced environment.

Role Overview

We are seeking two proactive, educator‑savvy Customer Success Managers to join our remote Florida team. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a transitioning teacher, you’ll own the post‑sale relationship with our school and district partners, ensuring they extract maximum value from our AI‑powered assessment tools and adaptive learning platforms. Your work will span onboarding, training, account growth, and continuous process improvement—all while collaborating closely with Sales, Product, and Support teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement & Growth – Build and nurture daily relationships with schools and districts through phone, email, chat, and Zoom. Monitor product usage, identify upsell opportunities, and proactively drive renewals and expansion sales.
  • Onboarding & Training – Own the end‑to‑end onboarding journey: roster new schools, configure accounts, and deliver engaging, role‑specific training sessions. Create instructional videos, whitepapers, and curriculum guides that empower teachers and administrators.
  • Problem Solving & Support – Diagnose and resolve customer challenges, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with Product to test and implement enhancements that scale.
  • Process Improvement – Design, launch, and iterate on engagement campaigns, talk tracks, and best‑practice playbooks that elevate customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Serve as the trusted liaison between external clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication, timely issue resolution, and alignment on strategic goals.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in Customer Success, preferably within EdTech or K‑12 environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, or a related field.
  • Prior experience as a teacher, administrator, or in a school setting is highly desirable; transitioning teachers are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Strong technical aptitude: comfortable navigating SaaS platforms, data dashboards, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Consultative sales mindset with the ability to identify and articulate value‑add opportunities.
  • Self‑starter who thrives in an unstructured, fast‑paced environment and can manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Florida residency required; candidates within driving distance of Orlando are preferred.
  • Willingness to travel for in‑person client visits approximately once a month.

Preferred Skills & Competencies

  • Experience with AI‑driven learning analytics or adaptive assessment tools.
  • Knowledge of state assessment standards (e.g., Common Core, Next Generation Science Standards).
  • Basic project management skills and familiarity with tools such as Asana, Trello, or Jira.
  • Emerging people‑management experience or a demonstrated ability to mentor junior team members.
  • Data‑driven mindset: ability to interpret usage metrics and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

Career Growth & Learning Opportunities

At brighthush, your professional development is a priority. You’ll receive:

  • Structured onboarding and continuous learning modules covering product knowledge, industry trends, and customer success best practices.
  • Mentorship from senior Customer Success leaders and cross‑functional partners.
  • Access to industry conferences, webinars, and internal knowledge‑sharing sessions.
  • Clear pathways to advance into senior Customer Success roles, Customer Success Leadership, or Product Management.

Work Environment & Culture

Our remote Florida team operates with flexibility and autonomy, supported by a robust virtual collaboration ecosystem. We celebrate diversity, encourage innovation, and reward results. Our core values—Integrity, Impact, Collaboration, and Growth—guide every decision and interaction. Whether you’re a seasoned educator or a fresh graduate, you’ll find a welcoming community that values your expertise and supports your growth.

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance options (subject to eligibility).
  • Paid time off and flexible scheduling.
  • Professional development stipend.
  • Employee referral bonus program.
  • Access to a digital learning library and subscription to industry publications.
