We offer tax preparation, tax planning, and monthly accounting services. Our clients bring us complex work, and we want a teammate who enjoys it. The Role We're looking for an experienced tax professional who can prepare and review returns across a wide range of entity types and who is comfortable with the bookkeeping that sits underneath them. You'll work directly with the firm owner and our tax team on a varied client base, with real room to grow into more advanced and advisory work.
What You'll Do
Prepare and review individual (1040), business (1120S, 1065, 1120), and fiduciary (1041) returns Prepare estate and trust returns and support fiduciary accounting work Review returns prepared by other staff and provide constructive feedback Perform bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and cleanup to get client books return-ready Research tax issues and help with planning and projections Communicate with clients to gather information and answer questions
What We're Looking For
Enrolled Agent (EA), or a CPA candidate actively pursuing licensure (CPA license a plus) [3+] years of tax return preparation experience, including review responsibility Hands-on experience with individual, business, estate, and trust returns Solid bookkeeping skills; QuickBooks Online experience preferred Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines Clear, professional communication with clients and coworkers
