Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Support Attorney for our inspiring nonprofit partner, which provides free civil legal services to low-income and vulnerable residents across Florida. This is a full-time, remote opportunity based in Florida and focused on supporting individuals in need of immediate legal guidance and resource navigation. Candidates must be licensed and barred in Florida. POSITION OVERVIEW The Support Attorney plays a key role in expanding access to justice through the organization's client services team. This position serves as a primary point of contact for individuals seeking civil legal assistance and provides direct, brief legal services, referrals, and holistic client counseling. The role requires an attorney who can thoughtfully assess legal needs while considering broader life circumstances such as housing stability, financial challenges, and family-related concerns. The Support Attorney will provide compassionate legal triage, empower clients with knowledge of their rights, and help guide them toward practical next steps and available community resources.
