Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Field Sales Representative at Pilot Roofing. The Field Sales Representative will proactively generate leads, respond to inbound inquiries, and follow up with prospective customers throughout the Greater Houston area. Daily responsibilities include conducting virtual and in-person consultations, explaining roofing options, guiding customers through the insurance claims process, and preparing accurate estimates and proposals. The role involves maintaining a structured sales pipeline, updating CRM systems, coordinating with internal teams on scheduling and project details, and meeting or exceeding sales targets. The individual will represent Pilot Roofing in a professional manner, build trust with customers, and support a smooth, stress-free roof replacement experience.

Qualifications

Strong skills in customer communication, consultation, and relationship-building, with the ability to explain roofing and insurance concepts in clear, accessible language. Experience in field sales or outside sales, preferably in construction, roofing, home services, or a related industry. Ability to manage a sales pipeline, perform follow-ups, and use CRM or similar tools to track leads and opportunities. Basic understanding of roofing systems or willingness to learn quickly, along with familiarity with insurance claims processes. Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Comfort with remote communication tools, including phone, email, video conferencing, and digital document sharing. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel within the Greater Houston area, as required. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in sales, construction, or insurance are a plus. Ability to meet performance goals, adapt to changing customer needs, and uphold safety and ethical business practices.
