To support this momentum, we are seeking an experienced, customer-focused Field Service Engineer to join our growing team in North America. Field Service Engineer United States · Home-office based · Travel 60–80% The Role This is a technically challenging and highly varied position. As Konvekta’s technical expert in the field, you will support customers in major metropolitan areas throughout the United States and Canada.

Key Responsibilities

Independently lead the commissioning, customer training, and handover of Konvekta systems. Respond to service calls, diagnose faults, and resolve technical issues on site or via remote access. Optimize system performance, primarily through remote monitoring and on site as required. Plan, coordinate, and perform annual maintenance independently. Collaborate with the engineering team at our headquarters in St. Gallen, Switzerland, contributing field insights to the development of new solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; vocational training as an electrician, automation technician, or HVAC technician; or equivalent proven experience with PLCs, building automation systems, or instrumentation and controls. Willingness to travel extensively (60–80%). Strong self-organization and the ability to work independently. A collaborative team player who enjoys working with international colleagues. Eagerness to contribute to innovative, groundbreaking solutions.
