Role Description The Finance Intern role at Moxell is a full-time, remote position supporting financial analysis, reporting, and operational efficiency. On a day-to-day basis, the intern will assist in reviewing financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and preparing basic financial reports and summaries. The role includes working with accounting records, helping reconcile accounts, and maintaining accurate financial documentation. The intern will collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather data, communicate findings, and contribute to process improvements. This position offers hands-on experience in core finance and accounting functions while developing professional skills in a flexible remote environment.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support decision-making. Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Finance and familiarity with Financial Statements. Candidates should possess basic Accounting skills, including understanding of ledgers, reconciliations, and recording transactions. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with teams and presenting financial insights clearly. Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency in spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets), attention to detail, ability to manage time effectively in a remote setting, and an interest in developing a career in finance. Enrollment in or completion of a degree program in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
