Parrotbox is an AI-powered platform that helps organizations deliver interactive training and point-of performance support at scale. Role Description The Fractional Software Support Rep is a part-time 100% remote retainered position. Basically our ideal candidate is already representing one or more other non-competing software companies and can be responsive to incoming customer messages during customary North American business hours. Escalate anything urgent to the rest of the team, give a reasonably prompt response to anything non-urgent. Compensation: We expect support volume to escalate steadily over the coming months. You will get a monthly retainer for time spent on calls (any customer issue can be billed as 15 minutes) that you will receive no matter what, then get paid hourly for any overages. If there's a lot of time left at the end of the month you might do documentation or screen capture tutorials for our knowledge base. Requirements: Excellent English language communicator (written and spoken) Located in the United States (for data privacy compliance - we'll ask you to prove it on camera - if you are based outside the U.S. don't bother applying) Previous experience providing "Tier 1" level support for a software platform Previous experience being an administrator of an enterprise SAAS platform of some kind Able to deliver on-camera video conference / screen share support Available and attentive to incoming messages during customary North American business hours Comfortable communicating via Slack with occasional video conferences We are an AI-first company but that means negotiating appropriate and inappropriate uses of AI up front. Don't expect to delegate this role entirely to Claude (and any AI delegation will be on company accounts)
