Responsibilities

• Support attorneys throughout the lifecycle of family law matters
• Prepare, organize, and maintain legal documents and case files
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents
• Assist with discovery preparation and responses
• Coordinate court filings, hearings, deadlines, and attorney calendars
• Conduct legal and factual research as needed
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties
• Assist attorneys with trial and hearing preparation
• Maintain accurate case-management records and ensure deadlines are met
• Handle confidential and sensitive client information with professionalism

Qualifications

• 3+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in family law
• Strong understanding of Massachusetts family law procedures and terminology
• Experience with divorce, custody, child support, parenting plans, and related family law matters preferred
• Strong legal writing, organizational, and communication skills

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between [$80,000 – $100,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
